Aesthetic Clinic of the Year
This category is for any clinic in Ireland that opened before the end of October 2019 and offers invasive and/or non-invasive aesthetic treatments can enter this category. These may include (but are not limited to) botulinum toxin, dermal fillers, peels, radio frequency, laser treatments, body contouring, minor cosmetic surgery and cosmeceutical-based skincare. The clinic must have a medical practitioner (i.e doctor, nurse or dentist) working on site.

Make-up Artist of the Year
This category is for any make-up artist providing full make-up services who has been working in a salon or spa or as a freelance or mobile make-up artist since at least the end of 2019.

Nail Salon of the Year
This category is for any salon in Ireland that opened before the end of October 2019 and advertises itself as doing mainly or exclusively nails or hand and foot services.

Nail Technician of the Year
The category is open to any nail technician or therapist who performs nail treatments, who has been working in a salon or spa or as a mobile tech or therapist since at least the end of 2019. Home-based techs are eligible to enter.

Salon of the Year
This category is open to any beauty salon that opened before the end of October 2019.
To enter this category, you must not have any heat or water facilities such as saunas and pools (salons with steam, heat and water facilities should enter the Spa of the Year category).

Salon or Spa Team of the Year
The team is the backbone of any salon or spa business – this category celebrates teams of three or more, encompassing all relevant employees from reception and front of house to therapist and manager.

Spa of the Year
This category recognises exceptional spas that opened before the end of October 2019.
To enter this category, the spa must offer water and/or steam facilities (e.g. pool, hot tubs, steam room, sauna).

Therapist of the Year
This category is for any beauty therapist who has been working in a salon, spa, clinic or as a mobile therapist since at least the end of 2019. Therapists who work from their own homes are eligible to enter.
Finalists in this category will be required to attend an interview at a venue in Dublin. These will be held on Wednesday 22nd September or Thursday 23rd September 2021.

Artistic Team of the Year
WHO CAN ENTER?
- A minimum of three people constitutes a team.
- Each member of the team must be a qualified hairdresser and all must have worked together for the same salon, salon chain or recognised hairdressing body during the past 12 months

Barber of the Year
This category is open to all barbers that cater for male clients.

The driving force behind the business – forward thinkers, entrepreneurs and strategisers.
A joint entry may consist of a maximum of three directors.

Colour Technician of the Year
WHO CAN ENTER?
- All qualified hairdressers who work in a commercial environment and have done so for a minimum of three years excluding training may enter this category.
- Entrants must have a regular client column within the region entered. A regular client column is working in a salon for a minimum of one day per week. This may be checked.
- Work submitted may be published work.

Irish Hairdresser of the Year
WHO CAN ENTER?
